Financial accountant Financial accountants prepare financial statements based on general ledgers for stakeholders. They require a solid understanding of both accounting and finance.
Tax accountant Tax accountants perform accounting for taxation purposes. They assist companies and individuals in preparing tax returns. They formulate tax strategies to help with decisions on financial choice, tax deferral, when to expense items and how to best approach corporate mergers or acquisitions.
